As summer is winding down, I'm looking back through some of my photos and feeling a bunch of gratitude. I sometimes get caught up in the image of success, and I forget how lucky I am to be able to live where I live, and have the means to go and photograph these truly humbling places. Just some chill blue tones to set the mood for a super chill weekend. My advice, not that you asked, is to go outside, hug a tree, hit the trail, alone or with your favorite crew. Feel the sunshine on your face, or the rain on your shoulders, let it get to you. Slow down and take it all in, and look behind you. This shot was looking away from Mt. Rainier, which is pretty hard to turn your back on.
